Is / are + past participle


English is spoken all over the
world

Cars are made in that factory.

A .The present Simple:



People speak English all over the world.(sing)

They make cars at that factory. (plural))




Is
being / are being + past participle.



A
new mosque is being built.


The
streets are being repaired this..


The present continuous.


They are building a new mosque (singular)

They are repairing the streetsthis
week.




Was / were + past participle




"Dubliners" was written
by James Joice.

100 cars were
sold
by this company…

C. The past Simple.



James Joyce wrote "Dubliners" (singular

This company sold 100 cars last month
(plural)




Was being were being + past participle.


The house was being painted.

The children were being carried by the firemen

The past continuous.

They
were painting the house.. (singular)

The
firemen were carrying the
children downstairs (plu)




Will be + past participle


A speech will
be made
by the Prime Minister
tomorrow.



The Future:

The
Prime Minster will make a speech tomorrow




Is /are going to be + past participle


The alarm system is going to be tested tomorrow.

The going to form

They are going to test the alarm
system tomorrow.(sing)

(plural).




Has been/have been+ past participle




My temperature has
just been taken
by Dr. Sabri.

The present perfect

Had been + past participle


Their

The past perfect
